Visit our new Virtual Art Gallery featuring Brian Williams'
original Etchings, Paintings and Drawings, all for sale!
Brian is, once again, a tour guide. His dear sister, Genevieve (Genny) Obert, joined him July 21, 2003. Born 18 months apart they've left our physical world 15 months apart. They shared so much: wit, wisdom, joy, an abiding love of life, love of family and travel.
Check out Brian's last great work, The Ship of Fools Tarot, released in September 2002. Brian Williams, who passed away in April 2002, was an artist, author, tarot expert, and lover of all things Italian, especially the imagery and iconography of the Italian Renaissance. Many of you visiting this site know that Brian wrote touching, serio-comic essays for various online communities. Click here to find out what Brian wrote was his big lesson in life. Eventually we hope to post an all-new Tarocon site here featuring an Interactive Tarot reading with Brian's Renaissance deck. It will be a collaboration between multimedia virtuoso Charles Mazzanti, who has been working with Brian on plans for this new site for many moons, and the family: his sister Genny Obert and mother Ann Williams. On June 1, 2002, two hundred or so people joined with the family to celebrate Brian's life at a grand memorial celebration. Read all about it! Tarot fans, be sure to check out the Tribute to Brian Williams: Renaissance Man of the Tarot on Diane Wilke's Tarot Passages website. If you have time and energy and multimedia skills and might be able to help us bring this page to life, please e-mail Genny or Charles. |
